Description:

EARTH is a soil moisture sensor designed to measure the moisture content in soil or similar materials. The sensor consists of two measurement probes that are inserted into the soil being tested. As the moisture content increases, the conductivity of the soil improves. By measuring the potential difference between the two probes and performing analog-to-digital conversion (ADC), the sensor can provide moisture readings.

EARTH unit also features a 10K adjustable resistor, which is used to calibrate the detection threshold. This allows you to fine-tune the sensitivity of the sensor according to your specific requirements.

By utilizing EARTH unit, you can monitor and analyze the moisture levels in soil, enabling efficient irrigation and plant care. The sensor can be integrated with the M5Core device or other microcontrollers to receive the moisture readings and perform further actions or analysis based on the moisture data.
