Standard Warranty Policy
1. Limited Warranty
Our company provides a limited warranty on selected products sold, ensuring they are free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use within the prescribed time (Please see this table for the list of warranty duration per category) from the date of purchase. This warranty is applicable only to the original purchaser with proof of purchase, in accordance with the Consumer Act of the Philippines (Republic Act No. 7394).
2. Coverage
This warranty covers any defects in materials or workmanship under normal use during the warranty period. During the warranty period, we will repair or replace, at no charge, products or parts of a product that prove defective because of improper material or workmanship, under normal use and maintenance.
2.1 Not Covered
The warranty does not cover:
- Damage due to misuse, abuse, negligence, or accidents.
- Damage caused by unauthorized repairs or modifications.
- Normal wear and tear.
- Products purchased from unauthorized resellers.
3. Warranty Claims
To file a warranty claim, please contact our customer service department with the following information:
- Proof of purchase (Sales Invoice).
- Detailed description of the issue.
- Photos or videos of the defect (if applicable).
4. Return
- Once your warranty claim is approved, we will provide instruction for returning the product.
- Makerlab will take responsibility for the shipping costs associated with returning select defective products. However, as we are covering the expense, we reserve the right to select the courier service that we determine to be the most suitable.
- We will repair or replace the defective product within a reasonable timeframe and return it to you at no additional cost.
Warranty Duration Post-Claim:
- Once a warranty claim has been made and processed, the warranty duration of the original item will continue to be in effect. Customers are entitled to file additional claims as long as the issues arise within the original warranty period.
5. Limitation of Liability
Our liability under this warranty is limited to the replacement or repair of defective products. We are not responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products.
6. Governing Law
This warranty policy is governed by the laws of the Philippines. Any disputes arising from this warranty will be resolved in accordance with the Consumer Act of the Philippines (Republic Act No. 7394) and other relevant local laws and regulations.
7. Amendments
We reserve the right to amend this warranty policy at any time without prior notice. The updated policy will be posted on our website and will apply to all purchases made after the date of the amendment.
Makerlab Return⁺ Program (Change of Mind Program)
1. General Return Policy
We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you are not satisfied, you may return the product within fourteen (14) days from the date of purchase.
2. Conditions for Return
- To be eligible for a return, the following conditions must be met:
- The product must be in its original packaging.
- The product must be unused and in the same condition that you received it.
- A receipt or proof of purchase (Sales Invoice) must be provided.
Note: Customers are entitled to submit only one return claim per transaction under the Makerlab Return⁺ Program. Once a return request has been initiated and processed for a specific order, no subsequent return claims for the same order will be accepted, regardless of the reasons provided. We strongly advise customers to thoroughly assess their purchases prior to initiating a return request to ensure that all items align with their expectations.
3. Non-Returnable Items
Certain items are not eligible for return, including but not limited to:
- Products that have been used, altered, or damaged.
- Products not purchased directly from our store or authorized resellers.
- Items marked as non-returnable or final sale.
4. Return Process
To initiate a return, please follow these steps:
- Contact our customer service team and request for the Return⁺ Program
- Provide your order number, proof of purchase, and reason for return.
- Once your return request is approved, we will provide instructions for returning the product.
5. Shipping Costs
The customer is responsible for the shipping costs to return the product.
We recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance, as we cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
6. Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within a certain number of days, depending on your payment provider’s policies.
When will the refund arrive?
- Cash - 1 - 3 banking days
- Credit/Debit Card - within 5 to 45 banking days
- QRPh - 1 to 3 banking days
Note: For partial refunds, please allow an additional 3 to 5 banking days.
7. Governing Law
